Egg painting is a fun Easter family activity.
Kids like to paint Easter eggs.
Each of these egg painting models has its own printable coloring page version, for small kids.
- Step 1. For the background (base color) dye your Easter eggs first as you usually do, with food coloring or commercial dye.
- Step 2. Outline your chosen drawing on the egg shell, slightly with a soft pencil.
Click the link under the drawing for the full size image of the coloring page with more details. - Step 3. Fill in the colors of your choice using acrylic paint.
Acrylic paint dries very fast, so, before you begin painting your eggs, I would advice you to read how to keep acrylics workable for a longer period of time.
Can't paint? No problem. Check out how to dye Easter eggs with onion skin, applying lovely leaf design.
